Well, its time again and VMworld<\/a> is looming. I personally haven\u2019t missed a VMworld<\/a> since 2005 and some years I\u2019ve been lucky enough to go twice. You know the things I love about VMworld and that\u2019s why I\u2019m addicted to going include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Networking<\/strong> \u2013 right at the top of my list\u2026. It\u2019s that one time of year I get chance to mingle and network with my peers.
\n\u2022 Education<\/strong> \u2013 nowhere can you get super focused knowledge transfer as you do at VMworld<\/a>
\n\u2022 New Stuff<\/strong> \u2013 Want to find out about the latest tech first? Then you just have to go to VMworld<\/a>
\n\u2022 Eco-System<\/strong> \u2013 for me a big part of VMworld<\/a> is meeting the eco-system partners. I\u2019m always looking to close the loop and to build the best solutions. I think this would be 2nd on my list.
\n\u2022 Direction<\/strong> \u2013 VMworld<\/a> helps me articulate the direction my company should be headed in the next few years
\n\u2022 Party<\/strong> \u2013 Oh yes.. some of the best parties happen at VMworld<\/a>\u2026 It’s like the vendors have to one-up each other when it comes to parties\u2026 I should know I used to help organise one of them<\/p>\n
