ESXi IQN name capitalized?

While rebuilding my lab I noticed a weird problem while trying to attach my ISCSI LUNs to my nested ESXi servers. The format of the IQN name for the storage adapter was inconsistent depending where you viewed from. Some of the last part of the iqn name is capitalised in the storage adapters view whilst not the case in the general properties dialog window.

IQN Capitalised

IQN not capitalised

Now this threw me for awhile because the ISCSI array I was trying to hook up to is case-sensitive. Even more weird is it only happened on some ESXi hosts and not others, even though I’d installed them the same way.
